You Love Them Because They’re Funny!

He who laughs, lasts.

For a long time, I heard numerous women state after obviously falling in love, “He’s so funny I just love that about him.”

Even after somebody has lost a family member, they’ll state, “I’ll always remember her smile, how she laughed, the little jokes she would tell to lighten the mood.”

Could it be we love people who have a great sense of humor? I have usually thought so. What’s more, now we have the relevant proof of what a significant number of people have suspected since quite a while ago. Humor is something we enjoy most about life and, and often, our loved ones are the ones who make us smile.

Luckily for those of us who probably aren’t that funny, humor is solely subjective. The guys at work may not laugh at your wisecracks, but if She laughs, well, that is the only thing matters.

For a long time, no one in the scientific world knew much about humor. But during the past 20 years, more and more research has been done. We learn which part of our brain deals with humor. We also know when a child starts to develop a sense of humor.

So don’t fluctuate. Let your funny bone appear through!

* When you think something is funny, don’t be hesitant to allow it to out. Just think first if your remark might be misinterpreted by those in earshot. Humor is incredible — foot-in-mouth is less exceptional.

* Use humor to ease uncomfortable situations. When the mood begins to get jumpy, a fitting laugh and humorous side remark can get everybody in the valley again.

* If habitually, you’re not funny, read kid’s shows, joke books, the jokes at the back of Reader’s Digest, and focus on how scriptwriters set up funny episodes on TV. You can figure out how to be more humorous than you are. Focus on humor, and your
